Package
Is the complete product of the packaging operation, including the package and its contents ready for transport;
In a word: Package = package + goods
Packaging
One or more receptacles, and other parts or materials necessary for the receptacle to perform its packaging and other safety functions;
Single packaging, composite packaging, combined packaging, dispersion, large packaging all belong to the concept of packaging.
Before introducing the remaining "combined packaging" and "composite packaging", we must first introduce three concepts, inner packaging, inner reservoir, and outer packaging.
Inner packaging
It is necessary to use the outer packaging when transporting;
The inner package cannot be submitted for transport separately if it has not passed the package performance test.
Inner receptacle
It is a reservoir that needs to have an outer package in order to have a packaging function;
Note The inner receptacle is an incomplete container that requires an outer package to be used.
Outer packaging
External protective devices for composite or combined packaging, together with absorbent materials, liners and other components necessary to contain and protect the inner receptors or inner packaging.
Combination packaging
A group of packages grouped together for the purpose of transport, consisting of one or more inner packages fixed in an outer package in accordance with 4.1.1.5;
Combined packaging = outer packaging + inner packaging
Composite packaging
It is a package composed of an outer package and an inner receptacle, and is constructed so that the inner receptacle and the outer package form a complete package. After the package is assembled, it becomes a single complete unit, which is used as a whole for loading, storage, transportation and unloading;
Composite packaging = outer packaging + inner reservoir
The difference between combined packaging and composite packaging is that combined packaging is composed of two complete units of inner packaging and outer packaging, and composite packaging is a complete unit composed of two different parts of the inner reservoir and outer packaging. Composite packaging can be a unit of composite packaging, but composite packaging cannot be a unit of composite packaging.
