Lithium battery fire is often accompanied by serious accidents, whether it is sea transport or inland road transport. At about 11:42 on August 20, an intercity bus from Lai 'an County in Anhui province to Nanjing Forest Farm station caught fire while traveling. Two passengers died and five others were scalded. After a preliminary investigation, the cause of the fire was spontaneous combustion of a lithium battery battery carried by a passenger.
